Although my father was a lawyer in Cuba and then in the United States, I did not immediately follow in his footsteps. I spent over 13 years working for the Social Security Administration in South Florida, where I interviewed and handled claims for retirement, disability, spouse, widow, and children benefits. While working for Social Security I realized, that like my father, I could help people to protect and safeguard their future more as a lawyer, so I resigned from my position, and after three years of law school, I passed the Florida bar.
I’m a family man (son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather) who believes in helping persons from all walks of life. I am keenly aware of the importance that everyone should be able to obtain legal representation to protect their family, money, real property, and personal belongings, as well as their basic human condition. More importantly, I understand the need for all persons to have specific, detailed protections to safeguard their own and their family’s future welfare.
As a lawyer, I strive to know my clients on a personal level to build life-long and multi-generational working relationships. I am the person you can trust to provide you, your family, and your friends with legal counsel tailored to your needs. If, for some reason, I cannot help you, I will offer to put you in the hands of another lawyer or professional that would be able to meet your specific needs.
In addition to being a lawyer, I am a Florida Supreme Court Certified County and Circuit Court Mediator, as well as a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbiter. I am also a Florida Notary Public and can notarize all types of documents, obtain Apostilles to file documents in foreign countries, and perform/solemnize marriages.
